Ready to give your home a fall refresh? This golden wheat wreath is the perfect way to do it. It’s a pretty, modern way to welcome guests into your home this fall and the best part is, it will be ready to hang in just 4 easy steps.
4-5 Bundles of Wheat
Gold Spray Paint
Hot Glue Gun
Hot Glue Sticks
Wire (not pictured above)
1. Spray paint your wheat wreath gold. Always make sure you use spray paint in a well ventilated area.
2. Gather about 12-14 pieces of wheat and wrap your wire around the stems about 8-10 times to secure them. Cut the stems off, leaving about 4-5 inches of stem. Then, spray paint the wheat and wire gold.
3. Next, it’s time to attach your wheat bundles to your wreath. Start by placing a dollop of hot glue on the outward facing side of your wreath and adhere your first bundle of wheat to the glue. Continue gluing your wheat bundles on your wrath working your way around the wreath and trying to cover the wheat stems and wire wraps as you go.
4. Finally fill in any sparse areas with individual pieces of wheat, hang and enjoy!
