Just because Halloween is over doesn’t mean the pumpkin fun has to end quite yet. These mixed pattern pumpkins will add a pretty pop of color to your home this fall and the best part is they are easy to make! Just follow the steps below to make your own lovely, mixed pattern pumpkins.
3 Pumpkins (I used large, medium and small)
Floral Gift Wrap
Striped Gift Wrap
Spotted Gift Wrap
1. Start by cutting your gift wrap vertically, into 1-2 inch strips.
2. Use your foam brush to start brushing Mod Podge onto your 1st pumpkin in strips. Then, place your first strip of gift wrap on the section of Mod Podge. Use the foam brush or fingers to secure the gift wrap strip to the pumpkin, making sure to smooth out any wrinkles and air pockets. Once it’s secure, add another layer of Mod Podge over the gift wrap strip to make sure it is secure and sealed, then continue this process, working your way around the pumpkin, applying Mod Podge and adding each strip of gift wrap as you go.
3. Once the entire pumpkin is covered in gift wrap and sealed with Mod Podge, set your pumpkin aside and allow 4-5 hours of dry time. Then, start on your next pumpkin and once they are all completed and dry, place them around your home to give your guests something to talk about!
