This weekend was hectic, but a lot of fun. I got to spend time with loved ones, listen to live music and work on fun projects, but one of my favorite activities this weekend, was creating this lovely and delicious grapefruit and coconut with lavender infused gin cocktail. Created with the help of my wonderful friend, Lauren, we spend hours trying to find the right combination for the perfect Spring cocktail and after a lot of hard work (I mean, drinking delicious cocktails while hanging out with your favorite gal pal is really tough, right?) we finally came up with this little lovely. It’s fresh, unique and yummy. Just follow the easy steps below to create your own grapefruit and coconut with lavender infused gin cocktail and enjoy!
Grapefruit & Coconut w/Lavender Infused Gin
For the Lavender Infused Gin:
2 Cups Gin
4 Tbsp Lavender
For the Cocktail:
1.5 Oz Lavender Infused Gin
1/2 Cup Grapefruit Juice
1/2 Cup Coconut Water
Lavender to Garnish
- First, make the lavender infused gin by adding the lavender to the gin, covering it and letting it sit for three hours, making sure to stir every so often. Once it’s done, strain it to remove the lavender and store it in the fridge.
- To make your the, add a few ice cubes to a glass, then combine the cocktail ingredients and stir (remember, you only need 1.5 oz of lavender infused gin for one cocktail).
- Finally, garnish your cocktail with a few sprigs of lavender and enjoy!
